Kirkland Directory is an online resource for the Kirkland Washington Community. Kirkland Directory is a Mini Cities, Inc. franchise. The Mini Cities franchise is based on three key concepts:
1) Information - People who live and work within a community like to operate within that community. They need to find all the services in their communities. Mini Cities sites offer all the information needed for someone living in their community to live and work with ease!
2) Trust - Mini Cities sites offer ratings, icons and the ability to customize your directory. We created this because we know you want to know what are the best doctors, restaurants, salons, and everything else – and we know you trust your friends and neighbors to tell you! We created this feature to all you to talk share this information easily.
3) Community - Mini Cities is a franchise company for one reason – we know that people who live in a community will take much better care of the information on the sites than a corporation can. The franchisee who owns this site cares about Kirkland Washington and they care about you – their friends and neighbors.
Mini Cities was started by Steve and Ana Abraham in 2005 with the New Tampa Directory. The original site began when Steve, a world class programmer and International technology speaker, and Ana, a seasoned software development manager, married, had two boys and moved to the suburbs. Ana was staying at home with their boys when she became frustrated with the lack of online information about her new community. They developed the New Tampa Directory with the thought that if they needed the information, then their neighbors did too. They were right. The site was very well received. Soon friends from around the country came to them telling a similar story and wanting to launch similar sites in their communities. In early 2007 Mini Cities, Inc. was born.
